iPad Air 2 Protective Case Leaked, Features Mystery Hole Near the Camera
There’s a fresh leak of the iPad Air 2/iPad 6 out there, one that brings an extra element of mystery to the whole design equation.
As you know, during last week’s Apple event the company only showed us new iPhones, leaving us craving for a new tablet or two. Now let’s see the new iPad Air 2 pictures.
We’re only dealing with a case for the device this time and the really interesting thing here is the new small hole near the camera cutout. This is a protective case, rather than a flip cover or a more complex accessory. The first batch of leaked pics showing the protective case for the new iPad doesn’t show much regarding the device’s design, but it does add an extra pinch of mystery.
The cutout could be made for a microphone, but the main camera may also get an extra element in the mechanism, like a laser focus of sorts, or even a small LED flash. Taking pictures with tablets is still pretty taboo, but Apple may want to change that with this new iPad. Anyway, it’s still not clear if the new iPad Air will get a launch event this fall or this year… but odds are that it’s coming soon.
Now here at Padholdr from the press and specification we have seen we already have a holder for it. So don't wait to long before you get it, I would hate for you to get the carriage before the horse, so head over and pick one up so you will be ready.
Thank you to the guys over at Tablet News for the write up
