THE 6x6 FIREWALKER: YOU'RE GOING TO WANT THIS ON YOUR FRONT LINES
Earlier this year we had the opportunity to supply Newscope Marketing with 4 custom tablet mounts for the 6x6 Firewalker.
Newsope Marketing is a woman-owned business in Granbury Texas who for over 20 years has provided “experiential marketing with the goal of helping companies create memorable, engaging experiences with their ideal prospects.” They work with the best of the best and there is no question why when you see their work.
Newscope’s fabrication team collaborated with Skeeter Brush Trucks, a leader in wildland apparatus manufacturing, and the result was this beauty.
They transformed a 2016 F-550 Super Duty into a wildland fire fighting machine. The 6x6 Firewalker makes it’s rounds at events but more importantly can tackle the meanest of brush fires. The Type 3 or 5 NWCG Apparatus is equipped with a minimum 500 gallons of water and 10 gallons of foam and is outfitted to hit a brush fire head on with its front grill mounted remote control nozzle. The nozzle can push 175 gallons per minute at 215 psi and is controlled via joystick all from the safety of the cab. Skeeter pulled out all the stops adding a 6” four link suspension, 3-piece beadlock aluminum wheels, 20” Load Range M radial tires, Extreme Service Off-Road Bumper, front and rear tow eyes and a transfer case and radiator/front engine skid plate. She’s not just another pretty face folks.
Thanks to Newscope, Skeeter Brush Trucks, and many high-quality sponsors, the 6×6 Firewalker is a reality.
